Self-rescue at the bow, tether partially blocked

The most dangerous situation: falling at the bow, last section of the tether blocked. In this situation, a low boat is NOT an advantage: you are deep in the water and below the bow.

Time to climb aboard below 2 minutes. Equipment: self-rescue tether TV3E3, life jacket Viking SOLAS 9340. Boat: Grand Surprise. Hendaye bay, Basque Country, 2015 07 04, 1000 to 1200 local hour. Wind 7-9 knots, waves ~80cm, sea temperature ~22oC. Boat under main sail and genoa, speed ~2 to 3 knots.
